    The Gatehouse HS1 Jockey Skull is popular with eventers for the additional protection it offers whilst going cross-country. The Gatehouse HS1 is certified to SNELL E2016 standards, in order to gain this the hat must be tested to simulate a rider falling into a fence with a secondary blow, for example a strike by the horse's hoof. HS1 riding hats are made from a reinforced carbon shell with a high density full cover EPS shock absorbing liner to enhance side impact protection and limit helmet deformation upon impact.

    This Gatehouse hat has a four point leather harness with lace adjustment at the back to ensure it fits securely around the base of the skull. The hat is fastened with a safety buckle and comes with a free padded hat bag with Gatehouse branding.
